About the Institute
Named in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young, one of America’s most respected civil rights leaders, diplomats, and public servants, the Andrew Young Emerging Leaders Institute reflects his lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and social impact.
The Institute brings together talented students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities for an immersive leadership experience that challenges participants to think critically, lead courageously, and prepare for the opportunities and challenges of an ever-changing world. Through workshops, mentorship, networking experiences, and exposure to accomplished leaders, students gain valuable tools to advance their personal, academic, and professional goals.
