The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc., celebrated its 26th Anniversary Hall of Fame Conference in Atlanta, Georgia at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, September 22-25, 2011. This year's theme is, "HBCUs: Meeting the Challenges, Fulfilling the Promise ". The Hall of Fame Weekend of activities included the signature Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony that honors HBCU alumni who have achieved excellence in the fields of Arts, Athletics, Business, Community Service, Faith and Theology, Government, Industry, Law, Medicine and Science, in addition to a Lifetime Achievement category. This year we will include a category for civil rights.

Other Hall of Fame Weekend activities included The Competition of College Queens, The College Invitational Golf Tournament, The Legacy Lecture Series, The Positive Image Program, the College Choir Competition and the Metro Atlanta Youth Gospel Choir Workshop & Recruitment Fair.
